When is a Book Not a Book?

A funny thing happened on the way to the Forum a couple weeks ago when we went to Amazon to check the status on the paperback version of Legacies. Apparently, Amazon thought Legacies was such a HUGE story, it needed handles.

This is what we saw when we got there:

Yes. That’s right. Legacies comes as a totebag. So, we sent a message to Amazon and said this is not the right image of our book. Granted, the paperback is pretty chunky, but it’s not a totebag. Talk about “Totes McGoats”. Can we get James Earl Jones and Malcome McDowell to do a commercial for us?

A few days later, we checked again:

Awesomsauce! Our Legacies tote is now a Tardis! Not only can you carry it everywhere with incredible ease, but you can LOOK INSIDE!

Oh Mighty Amazon, what magic have you woven with our book? You’ve taken it to the next level. Who else has a totebook on the market like this? The only question I have is, could you have chosen something other than brown? It’s so plain and unassuming…but maybe that was the plan all along too. The Clark Kent of the Paranormal fiction world! Ordinary totebag by day, Superbook by night—or at least until you get the book into the nearest phone booth (do phone booths even exist anymore?)

At any rate, Legacies is available in print. The Tardis Tote issue has been resolved. Amazon and Barnes & Noble have the books in both hardcover and paperback. Go grab yours today!
